Samsung used Gamescom 2026 to announce its 2027 Odyssey gaming-monitor lineup. The range includes a 49-inch OLED G9 with Dual QHD resolution and refresh rates up to 360Hz, plus a 42-inch curved OLED G7 combining 4K resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate and a 1000R curve. Both are new format-and-speed combinations aimed at immersive games and competitive play.

At the performance extreme, the 27-inch Odyssey G6 can reach 1,100Hz in HD mode or 600Hz at QHD through a dual-mode setting. Samsung says the G6 will be available globally in the second half of 2026. Availability for the other 2027 models will vary by market, with final timing and prices still to be announced, so the broader lineup remains a preview rather than a full retail launch.

Samsung is also expanding HDR10+ Gaming support with Activision Blizzard and plans compatibility across more than 20 major titles by the first half of 2027. Demonstrations included Cyberpunk 2077 and Cronos: The New Dawn on Odyssey 3D displays.
